Questions
Studying with LexRoute
Will I need the full 12 months to finish the course?
Probably not. The 12 months is there for flexibility, not as a target. You set your exam date and the hours you can study each week, and your study plan fits the course into that time. Candidates studying full-time can finish much sooner; those studying around work can spread it out.
Can I study alongside a full-time job?
Yes. The course is online and self-paced. Tell the study plan which days and hours you have, and it suggests what to do in each session. Your progress is saved, so you can switch between laptop, tablet and phone.
People say they ran out of time to do enough mocks. How does LexRoute help?
Your study plan works back from your exam date and schedules mocks into the final weeks, so practice is not squeezed out by reading. Your analytics also show your pace per question, so you can fix timing before exam day.
Do I have to make my own flashcards?
No. Ready-made flashcards come with Single FLK Retaker, SQE1 Complete and SQE1 Ultimate, so the hours many candidates spend making cards can go on practice instead.
I find it hard to concentrate on long reading. Will LexRoute suit me?
LexRoute gives you several ways into each topic: short videos, podcasts, flashcards and questions, so you can study in shorter, focused sessions. If you need adjustments in the exam itself, apply to the SQE assessment provider through the SRA's reasonable adjustments process.
How will I know what to revise?
Every answer feeds your analytics. You see your score by subject and topic, your pace and your trend over time, with a suggested next step for your weakest area.
